Politics


One of the things I did look forward to and missed out on is breast feeding. I always thought using my mammary glands to do what they were designed for, well, primarily designed for, would be something very, very special. But highly influenced by corporate policies and politics breast feeding isn’t the normal thing to do for many women for various reasons. I don’t want to get into the entire argument, let’s just leave it at, I would have liked to breast feed… Anyway, what I really wanted to share with you today is something I found while in the Technisches Museum in Berlin a couple of weeks ago. They have a huge collection of bank notes in the foyer of the museum, there is a cabinet under the stairs with pull-out vertical drawers which hold sheets of glass. These hold about 20 to 30 banknotes which you can look at from either side. and I pulled a number of them out marvelling and admiring how different they all are, in size, colour, artwork. And looking through them I found this one:
