The creative everyday challenge has a theme to it every month. This month’s theme is “the body”.

So because todays work (though come to think of it, today isn’t half done, so there might be more) isn’t part of the theme, I post here.

It’s fascinating to see how other artist work through the different themes. I enjoy looking at other participants work. And during my browsing I found a possible solution to a problem I had during my driftwood project for the dia de los muertos. A soldering iron!! It’s here at after iris creates.

And because I’m the kind of person who has to do things without delay, I’m hopeless when it comes to waiting for the paint to dry, groan… I tried it this morning with J’s soldering iron (which is now mine :-P). It works. As the inspiration/solution comes from Iris’ mum, who also happens to be very dear to me, I dedicate this first piece to Iris.
