Week 11 – Mondays are for short runs

distance: 5km (plus 400m cool down)

Time: 36min (plus 3min cool down)

Average pace: 6:40/km

Fastest pace: 5:46/km

It’s a dull, cool, gray day here. I wasn’t that motivated to go for a run but I thought a nice speed work session would be fine for today. I ran down to the beach which was rather soft so it was hard work to keep the pace below 7/km but I did it. I had hoped to do some interval sprints on the tarmac while waiting for my ride, but when I got to the road the car was already waiting for me. So I guess I’ll do the interval training tomorrow.
