After a couple of rotten days I was nervous about going out for a run today. The weather has been wet and windy here so when the sun came out mid morning I was set to try a short 5 k run. After 2.5 k I felt really good though so I took a turn to do a longer run down to the end of the beach and then back. It was lovely! And I’m still getting faster, both the 5 and 10km splits are pbs for this year. Looking at my elevation profile I see why I felt more tired on the second 5k, it was basically sand and uphill most of the way back. So a 36min split for the second 5k is decent enough.

    Hi Ines! When I tried to log on to this a few weeks ago, it wouldn’t let me. I tried again today and voila! I’m feeling like your race is over?? If so, how did it go?
