week nine – working on core and hip stability

One of my friends on DM has suggested clamshells and somewhere else I’ve read about the usefulness of form rollers. So now I’ve expanded my daily routine to include both. It’s been ages since I did any serious core work. My core stability has a lot of room for improvement. I can tell not just while running, my overall posture is nothing like it used to be when I taught classes. So I am aiming to do a long core and back care class once a week now. Tuesdays is a good night. I’m also integrating some light free weights for upper body strength. One a week should be possible.
