24th of November – turtle ATC

Testudinidae – watercolur and pen ATC

After two days experimenting with unfamiliar territory I’ve decided to go back to the familiar. The ATC format is very familiar and turtles move nice and slowly. But even then, the close-up of this card reveals a lot of bleed of colours in the ground pebbles so I am thinking of grouting the in between space in another colour maybe later on.
I’m doing a lot of computer arts at the moment exploring completely new territory, animation. But it’s very early days and nothing I can blog about just yet.

Interesting month, November. I’m amazed how the CEDM has fueled the fire of making, creating, and documenting and the fact that so far I’ve managed to post on a daily basis.

Your range of talents is amazing! Ceramics, painting, carving, AND writing a novel. Blessings to you as we in the US celebrate our day of Thanksgiving with family and friends.

What a sweet turtle! ATCs are wonderful to turn to when you need some low pressure creativity for the pure pleasure of creating.

Looks great! I don’t mind the slight bleeding. I think it looks very natural.
