sleeping – driftwood 4″x 6″ (10×16cm)

is there a sweeter face than that of a sleeping child?

—————–

Today I experimented with driftwood again. I did a knot art piece first and then tried to draw something fitting in with the body theme. I used a soldering iron to draw/burn my image into the driftwood I collected on our local beach. I’m not sure if I like it. It’s different. Faces are difficult, to paint, to mold, to draw, to burn. I think faces could be a theme all on it’s own… I think I’ll stick to the rest of the body for a bit longer before I attempt a face.
