16th of march – cat watercolours

March 16th, 2011 at 0:38

After spending the last four days working in the garden and spending my days digging, planting, mowing, repairing, planing and pruning, I took a day off yesterday to paint some watercolours. I haven’t been anywhere urban in the last week, so I’m running on vapours here. My cat will have to do as a motive for my latest ventures.

I love monochrome paintings. I’m intrigued by the painting I attempted to copy about a week ago. I would really like to be able to paint a creature (in this case a cat) in a few simple brush strokes, but it seems I’m still far away from that.

beautiful! I love the painting of rinker. Reminds me of my big orange fuzz ball. :-)
