13th of November – the tallest tree in town

November 13th, 2011 at 9:11

I like what I can do with software and make a rather uninteresting image look – interesting! :-P
Outside our civic center stands a really tall tree, the tree stands in the middle of a newly paved area with big sodium vapor street lights. I’m not sure what the town planners had in mind but so far that tree isn’t a big feature plant but goes largely unnoticed, somehow, when you drive or walk by you’re usually on the way to somewhere. Maybe people are just not looking despite the fact that it’s most likely the tallest tree in town.

I decided to paint a watercolour (6″x6″ – 15×15cm) from above photo.

There you go, tree. I hope I’ve made up a little bit for having ignored you for so long.

I like your painting of the tree. Vintage feel for sure. Kind of transports me back in time.
