new pebble for me and one for a friend

March 12th, 2010 at 18:04

I’m back working on my art and crafts. After having hot chocolate outside in the early spring sunshine this morning, I was wandering around in the front yard with my mug in hand and found a pebble from the beach which smiled at me. And so I sat down after breakfast and made myself a new touchstone. And I also carved Sky’s name into the stone for Sky’s mum. So here a photo of my new pebble which hopefully will stay with me for a long time, and his friend who is bound to travel to my friend on Monday when i get a chance to go down to the post office.

I’ll take better pictures tomorrow morning in natural daylight.

Here a photo of the reverse of the above touchstone with the heart.

I am in love with the pebble already… it’s beautiful !
Sure Sky would have loved that stone too.

These are beautiful Ines. And I’m pleased that you feel motivated to get back to working on your arts and crafts. You’re very talented – your lines are so neat and these pebbles are full of personal meaning. You will be impressed with me too because yesterday I started sowing seeds in the greenhouse and even planted a few peonies and dahlias in the garden!

oh wow, yes, seeding, I’m way behind, having a low motivation episode here. Maybe it’s just because I’m too busy soaking up the spring sunshine :-P
