finished another ATC

Last night after I posted my ATCs cut another 8 ATCs from watercolour paper and got stuck into painting first thing this morning. I wanted to paint something which has life and hope in it, something vibrant and also meaningful. A painting that expresses friendship and travelling a particular journey together. So I painted a boat with two people. In the first try the water didn’t turn out the way I wanted, so I painted stylised wave patterns over it.

ATC – travel together 1 – water colour 2.5″ x 3.5″ (6×9 cm)

But it wasn’t right, somehow the water didn’t fit with the rest of the picture, so I did a second ATC with a similar picture.

ATC – travel together 2 – water colour 2.5″ x 3.5″ (6×9 cm)
