waves – felt

September 3rd, 2010 at 16:39

I tried myself at felting. This is my first ever bit of felt cloth. It really isn’t anything brilliant, just a rag really, I tried to make an ocean, I have the idea of possibly working some more felt in something like bright red or yellow and white and then stitch it on to it. But I don’t know. I have to see. If you have ever made felt you will know it very much qualifies for the water theme. It’s a wet, messy activity, felting. But fun and if I get the hang of it, opens up to a lot of possibilities. I can always use this one to polish my shoes (not that that’s the kind of thing I do…).
