dragon fly

After our dinner, I was sitting at the dinningroom table which is half filledcluttered with various art projects I’ve started over the last couple of weeks, I picked up the sheets of paper I made a couple of weeks ago. And I started work with it. The first one was pencil, then turned into pen on homemade paper:

red dragonfly – ink on homemade paper 5″x5″ (12×12cm)

And painted a second one. I first used watercolours only and then added the contours with coloured ink. I tore the paper to ATC size and put it onto white card. I used more paper as a background just for the picture.

Neither of these photos do the paper or paintings much justice, I shall try it again in the morning with proper daylight.

Nice! The red is very vibrant and the smaller ATC is so pretty. I love that you used the paper you made. Great job!

Sweet! Love them both. Kudos for the handmade paper (something I forgot to ask you a ton of questions about… eh, next time).
