new pens for homemade paper

September 21st, 2010 at 14:50

I went into town and got some new fine tip pens to draw on my homemade paper. These are perfect, for whatever reason, maybe it’s the viscosity of the ink in combination with the size of the tips but the ink doesn’t run. They are bog standard felt tip pens and I was overjoyed to find colours beyond the usual dark blue, red, black and green.

This is not even an attempt of a piece of art, just a doodle to try out the pens. I just wanted to show some of the new colours. There is yellow, green, blue, orange, purple, pink, red, navy blue. Somehow the colours even mix a bit when you apply them on top of one another so blue and yellow make for another shade of green etc. I’ll have to play with those for a while now. One of the really nice things about these pens is, you can just pop them into your bag and pull them out in a coffee shop, on the train, in the waiting room, anywhere you want really.
