water – sailing

September 21st, 2010 at 15:30

A while back I said water is a theme that is easy for me for a lot of things I do involve water, take place in water, I live on an island near the sea, I’m surrounded by water all the time!

I painted this water colour painting a while ago, so strictly speaking it’s a cheat to post it here as part of the CED. But I love it and it reminds me of so many, many things, not just painting or sailing but the sensation of the wind, the sound of the sail, the splashing of the water against the hull of the boat, the screeching of the birds, the exhaustion of a day out at sea.

I love water.

love it! i feel it all too – the wind, the sun, the smell of the ocean! It reminds me of my dad too —- he loved sailing in his younger years.
