3rd of November – experimenting with modelling plaster

November 3rd, 2010 at 12:01

A friend of mine has access to a kiln so in time I will have a chance to fire my pottery pieces with her help, but I don’t think it’s so cool to produce a whole pile of try-out pieces that need to be fired which are in essence of very little real use. Still, I wanted to experiment with some stencils I’ve had for a long time and as this was my first try I decided to use the modeling clay again. I like this flower stencil and I could see myself using it on pottery pieces in the future.

This little white tile could be used for a card or something similar. It’s slightly smaller than an ATC.

This looks like it is going to turn out really cute. I wish I had easy access to a kiln! I work with polymer clay that can be baked in my oven.

    Very cool.
