8th of October – a week of photography

Saturday, October 8th, 2011

Today I will break one of my own rules, I will re-post an image I’ve already posted on the main forward tumble blog. The reason for that is, I have attached a hash tag of #CED2011 on twitter and ins.tagram to this photo composition and I do feel, I should show you the image here on my creative everyday blog. It just belongs here!

I really enjoy inst.agram, and if you are using insta you can follow my photos @forwardtumble. And if you happen to also be in the CED group of people or interested in CED you can look up the #CED2011 images.

Here another few of the photos I submitted to the CED2011 photo collection this week:

I still spend so much time outside, I get very little chance to paint or carve or anything other than taking photos. But I look, see and find beauty all around me and I try to capture that with my camera in these next couple of images.

This is a hydrangea flower, I think it’s what’s left of last years bloom and has been been blown out from underneath the bushes in the strong winds.

These are the blooming leeks I chucked into the compost in an effort to clean up some of the vegetable garden as one of the many autumn chores.

I love the autumn colours in this next image.

I didn’t use a filter because I don’t think I could do any better than this. Sometimes filters can really add to images though. In the next image I used a filter called grunge.

Chopping firewood has been an ongoing task for us this autumn. Most days we have some clear spells and I chop a few of those block.

The swallows are still soaring and doing their aerobatic tricks. I cherish their presence and often pause to watch them fly high in the sky.

There you go, I have been busy and thankfully not too busy to be able to share here today. Thank you for visiting and do feel free to share you thoughts on any of the above in the comment section.
