I’m very excited about my latest purchases. I feel a bit like a squirrel getting ready for winter. They had an art supply sale in the bargain section of one of our supermarkets. So I did succumb to buying at a time where there is little need because as is I hardly find the time to blog/paint/write these days.

Nevertheless, I got

  • modeling brushes
  • a new set of paint brushes
  • textile glue
  • a good few new canvases

AND

  • a wood burning iron

No more borrowing and repurposing of J’s soldering iron. I didn’t know you could get these lovelies! It comes with interchangeable tips. I am very much looking forward to the quiet wintertime now when I get to embark on this new challenge of drawing on wood. Pity really that August is the month with the fire theme. :-P
