My sweetcorn didn’t produce anything worth preparing for the table. I am unsure whether I will ever try to grow sweetcorn again because they take up too much space to leave me with nothing. But then maybe all isn’t lost.
There were some kernels on the cobs and just before chucking them onto the compost heap I decided to pick them off and dry them for another go next year. These are nice organic grown seeds after all.

Let’s hope they make it through the winter without going moldy or being eaten by hungry little rodents in the shed.
